LOVE AND CHAOS - FILM
LOVE & CHAOS featuring GET UP by HIPS for the Opening Credit Sequence
Get Up by HIPS turns this opening credit sequence from what felt like an expository animation to a full on bop for Love & Chaos, starring Christine Taylor, Lux Pascal, Bebe Wood and more. The track was also chosen for the end credits.
LOVE & CHAOS featuring In The Penthouse by HIPS
HIPS scored this needle drop transition in Love & Chaos in the style of the temp (which would have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars) but with completely original and authentic instrumentals and vocals featuring lyrics written just for this film, referencing the characters and story. In doing so, HIPS saved the production hundreds of thousands of dollars while creating an asset in the form of a bespoke track bolstering the world of the film and characters for this epic needle drop moment.
LOVE & CHAOS featuring "GET UP" and "In The Penthouse"
Both "Get Up" and "In The Penthouse" were selected for the coveted end credits placements of Love & Chaos, leaving audience members hyped after watching the film, which stars Lux Pascal, Bebe Wood, Christine Taylor, and more.
LOVE & CHAOS featuring "EVERYWHERE" Fleetwood Mac cover by HIPS and friends
HIPS collaborated with composers Connor Cook and Duncan Thum to cover
Fleetwood Mac's iconic "Everywhere" for this energetic travel montage in Love & Chaos, starring Christine Taylor, Lux Pascal, Bebe Wood and more.
LOVE & CHAOS featuring NOTHIN TO EXPLAIN by HIPS and friends in needle drop montage
HIPS scored this pivotal montage in Love & Chaos with a brand new, bespoke song in the style of the temp (which would have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars) but with completely original and authentic instrumentals and vocals with lyrics written inspired by and referring to dialogue in the film's script. The production saved hundreds of thousands of dollars while gaining an asset in a completely original tune bolstering the world of the film and characters for this needle drop moment. Featuring Duncan Thum on guitar.
LOVE & CHAOS featuring a Bespoke Beat for a Police Escort Race to the Finish Line
Love & Chaos wanted to place Memento Mori but the artist didn't own the underlying beat, so HIPS created a bespoke beat to accompany the vocal so that the track could be used in the final film, starring Christine Taylor, Bebe Wood, Lux Pascal and more.
MOMSTER featuring WRONG SIDE & GONE WILD by HIPS
Both "Wrong Side" and "Gone Wild" are used to drop viewers into the ethereal sleaze of MOMSTER, a queer action romance that was called "the love child of Tarantino and Refn" when it premiered at Tribeca Film Festival. The film is distributed by Tribeca through DirecTV.
